We study the properties of interacting line defects in the four-dimensional Chern Simons (CS) gauge theory with invariance given by the SL(m|n) super-group family. From this theory, we derive the oscillator realisation of the Lax operator for superspin chains with SL(m|n) symmetry. To this end, we investigate the holomorphic property of the bosonic Lax operator L and build a differential equation DL=0 solved by the Costello-Gaioto-Yagi realisation of L in the framework of the CS theory. We generalize this construction to the case of gauge super-groups, and develop a Dynkin super-diagram algorithm to deal with the decomposition of the Lie superalgebras. We obtain the generalisation of the Lax operator describing the interaction between the electric Wilson super-lines and the magnetic 't Hooft super-defects....
Learn more!As we enter the era of quantum technologies, quantum estimation theory provides an operationally motivating framework for determining high precision devices in modern technological applications. The aim of any estimation process is to extract information from an unknown parameter embedded in a physical system such as the estimation converges to the true value of the parameter. According to the Cramér-Rao inequality in mathematical statistics, the Fisher information in the case of single-parameter estimation procedures, and the Fisher information matrix in the case of multi-parameter estimation, are the key quantities representing the ultimate precision of the parameters specifying a given statistical model. In quantum estimation strategies, it is usually difficult to derive the analytical expressions of such quantities in a given quantum state. This review....
Learn more!Quantum teleportation of an unknown state basing on the interaction between discrete-valued states (DV) and continuous-valued states (CV) presented a particular challenge in quantum technologies. Here we consider the problem of controlled quantum teleportation of an amplitude-matched CV qubit, encoded by a coherent state of a varied phase as a superposition of the vacuum- and single-photon optical states among two distant partners Alice and Bob, with the consent of controller, Charlie. To achieve this task, we use an hybrid tripartite entangled state (interaction between the discrete and continuous variables states) as the quantum resource where the coherent part belongs to Alice, while the single-photon belongs to Bob and Charlie and the CV qubit is at the disposal of Alice. The discrete-continuous interaction is realized on highly transmissive beam-splitter. We have shown that.......
Learn more! The ab initio study of electronic, magnetic properties and Curie temperature of AlAs doped by single and double impurities is investigated using LDA–KKR–CPA method. It is shown that the Al substituted by V and/or Ti induces a half-metallic character and ferromagnetism in the system for different concentrations except co-doping by x=y=0.035. The stability of magnetism between the ferromagnetic and DLM states as well as the mechanism of exchange interaction are discussed. The density of states are plotted in the energy diagram for different concentrations of dopants. The co-doping with (V, Ti) increases Curie temperature in AlAs with respect to single substituant. The finding of this work confirms that the new compounds have a great potential for spintronic devices.
